Kromproom’s Definition Celebrated in Argentina’s CyberPunk Compilation

The Argentine net-label CyberPunk, based in Buenos Aires, proudly included Kromproom’s track Definition on its influential compilation, Electromecanico C, part of a special collection commemorating the 30th anniversary of CyberPunk culture in Argentina. This track, originally from Kromproom’s single It Has Started Again, aligns perfectly with the themes celebrated during the GLOBAL CYBER DAY 2014 event, one of the largest CyberPunk gatherings in Latin America.

These three Electromecanico compilations (A, B, and C) celebrate the genre’s raw, electronic roots, bringing together a range of artists who highlight the diversity and experimental spirit of the CyberPunk movement. Organized by Joel Hurtado Portella and masterfully produced and post-processed by Chico Ninguno at Pasillo del Poder studio in La Plata, Argentina, the compilation stands as a testament to the region’s vibrant underground scene.

Each track in Electromecanico brings a unique voice to the compilation, symbolizing the evolution and resilience of CyberPunk themes—such as technology, resistance, and dystopian landscapes—within modern electronic music. Definition itself captures this essence with its sharp electronic rhythms and dark, atmospheric undertones, resonating with the futuristic yet gritty aesthetic that CyberPunk represents.
