A2069: Agressiva 69’s Legacy Redefined with Covers and Remixes
Celebrating Agressiva 69: The Legacy of Deus Ex Machina Lives On
Consistent effort leads to remarkable achievements. Our label is proud to be part of a significant event marking 25 years since the release of Agressiva 69's iconic debut album, Deus Ex Machina. This milestone in the Polish rock-metal-industrial scene remains a defining moment in music history.
To honor this anniversary, Requiem Records released a vinyl edition of the album on January 30, 2019. Supporting this celebration, KROMP ROOM RECORDS presents a digital release of Agressiva 69’s EP A2069, which premiered on February 6, 2019.
The EP features four tracks, including two cover versions and two remixes. The cover of Agressiva 2069 was performed by the band Męczenie Owiec, while Koniec Dnia received a dark, atmospheric reinterpretation by the band Astheria. The remixes of A2069 were crafted by the duo Kings in White. The final sound mastering for this digital release was handled by Piotr Witkowski of Exit Productions Studio, known for his award-winning sound work.
